Spell Bug Update
As you may or may not have already heard in my stream, yesterday, there is a bug in spellcasting. However, I've figured out how to keep the problem from happening.
If you don't touch the checkboxes next to each spell, you can cast them as much as you want. It just links to chat. Although if you check a checkbox, the spell will never link to chat again.
I'm going to look into the code and see if I can make it work as intended. If not, I could probably just delete the checkboxes all together and we won't have that problem.
I'll keep you updated, and give you a warning if it seems to be anything game-breaking.
In case you missed it, here's my stream. It will be available to watch until it expires, 13 days from now.
Publish 1.5: The Transformation School of Magic
Here's another phantom addition. "Transformation" has been added to the list of Schools of Magic when creating a Spell.
Publish 1.4: The Animus Spell Tag
Don't worry, it won't hurt a thing. I just added a new checkbox on the Spell window for the Animus Spell Tag, which will be displayed as "(A)" next to the "(R)" for Ritual Casting .
Publish 1.3
I'm stumped as to why Drag & Drop works for Spell crafts, but not Item crafts, so I did some tidying up. The Weapon info has been removed from the Item craft. That's the breaking part of the update. Armor info on Item crafts doesn't have any function other than to just hold the information for you, but when you use those fields for it, it displays with efficient real estate on the entry, so I kind of like it being there.
I also changed the "Attacks" tab to "Actions."
Since this will be a "breaking" update, I'll schedule it for Sunday, around 2pm to give anyone using the system some forsight.
P.S. If you're wondering how Drag & Drop works, make a Spell craft, then open a character sheet, and click & drag the "Drop" link at the top right of the Spell craft window over the area that your Spells would show under the Spells tab of your Character Sheet. If it doesn't show up, it's probably because it's not a Cantrip. Drag the Spell Level drop-down box to "All Levels."
Publish 1.2 - 15 Piece Hit Dice
Here's a bonus publish. You now have more choices for your Hit Dice on your Character Sheet. It won't break anything, you just have more options.
