Let's talk about Kickstarter and what it means for the Alpha

The end of the year is now right at the corner and we want to give you the latest about our Kickstarter Campaign, and what it means for all of you.

We launched the alpha a year ago and the enthusiasm you’ve shown from the very start gave us the desire to keep it open ever since. Once again, thank you from all of us at Let’s Role for the support and the daily feedback, we could not have made it this far without you!

We’ve been talking about this Kickstarter Campaign for quite some time and we are now ready to announce that we plan to launch it during January 2021. The exact date is still in discussion and we still have a lot of work to make all this happen, so more on that later.

So, what does this mean for you all ? Pretty much nothing… if you’re already a registered member of Let’s Role. Due to the work we will have to do during the Kickstarter Campaign, we have decided to close the registrations on december the 31st. This means that everyone who registered BEFORE this date will be able to play and keep playing during the Kickstarter Campaign and beyond.

A few days or weeks after the Kickstarter campaign is over, we will once again open the registration and keep the daily activation process as you know it today. It means that once a day, we have to manually activate accounts, please note that if we’re facing a huge number of registration it might take more than a day. And while everyone will be able to play on Let’s Role Alpha, we will be hard at work for the Beta which will launch later next year. We aim for a release in May, however this will be hugely impacted by the Kickstarter Campaign results and we will talk about it in due time.

To sum it all up : if you’ve got friends who might be interested in trying Let’s Role and joining you on your adventures, tell them to register before december the 31st of 2020.

That’s it, no service interruption and the Kickstarter Campaign is a few weeks away ! It’s a really exciting time for us and once again, thank you.
